Heirloom Necklace Collar
This intricately detailed necklace collar offers just the right mix of classic old traditional and contemporary style. So much good thought and intention went into its creation, from design of the flower beadwork to selection of colours. Following Métis tradition, there is one wrong bead intentionally placed to humble ourselves before Creator, acknowledging our human imperfections. Brilliant berry tones and white mousetracks play against a deep black Melton wool background. It is detailed with 3-cut glass and metallic beadwork, and swarovski red berry and crystal bead looped fringe embellishment. It closes at the back with a lobster claw clasp, is lined in pretty kookum print cotton, and carries the Lisa Shepherd, Métis Artist label.
