Little Winged Ones: Long Scarf
Little Winged Ones adorn each end of this long scarf, among wild flowers and greenery. One end shows picikîskisîs (Chickadee) and dogwood in grey, black, white, and green. The other end shows osâwi-peyêsîs (Goldfinch) and Camas in yellow, black and purple. Vining along both sides are plant medicines; trillium, bitterroot, juniper, salmon berry, bleeding hearts, violets, cedar, buffalo berry, shooting stars and blackberry.
Lisa Shepherd, Métis Artist's beadwork is printed boldly on a luxurious poly chiffon that won't fade over time.
